Born in Aurora, IL, he was a dedicated husband to Barb Allen for 52 years and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After a 28-year career at FermiLab, he enjoyed fishing and golfing. Preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister-in-law, he is survived by his wife Barb, a sister, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for December 21, 2024, at Dieterle Memorial Home. Donations in his memory can be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
